A: It all starts by reaching out to us for a free consultation. At that appointment, we will find out exactly what kind of project you want to do and get an idea of the scope of it. Then we’ll start working on the design. The design will include beautiful, custom-made renderings. After that, if you approve, we will fill out your product choices and nail down an exact quote before we pick up a hammer.
You approve everything, every step of the way and there are never any hidden fees. It’s all transparent, and once we give you a final quote, that’s our iron-clad promise on the price.
A: One of the things that homeowners love about dealing with us is our 24/7 online portal called Buildertrend. It gives you constant access to the updated status of your project. One feature in particular is popular: Buildertrend always shows who is in charge during any phase of your project. That person’s name and contact info will be displayed in the top right corner of the portal at all times.
That means you ALWAYS know exactly who to reach out to with questions and concerns. It eliminates confusion and keeps communication lines constantly open and available.

A: The best material is the one that you like and will work best for your project. We can do Trex decks, other composite decks, and various types of wood decks. That said, with our 25+ years of deck experience, we do think Trex is often the best choice for many homeowners.
A: You can always find a contractor willing to underbid to get a project. If you shop more on bargains than on true value, we’re probably not a good fit for you. We’re always straightforward about our quotes and we never have hidden fees. When you factor in our quality and the durability of our construction work, we are a good value, but we don’t try to “out-cheap” other contractors. That’s a recipe for disappointing results.
